Graphology is the theory of writing, which holds that a person's handwriting provides information about his abilities and personality characteristics in areas such as: relationship, family and career and also reflects his level of intelligence, talents, leadership ability, communication skills and more.
Handwriting is the brain's writing, and the job of the hand is to carry out the brain's commands and convert them into writing. Since the writing movements are in correlation with the central nervous system and change according to its condition, there is a great challenge to change the different characteristics of the writing in a deliberate way.
Graphological diagnosis includes reference to various parameters: the writer's age, gender, medical problems and significant changes that happened during his lifetime, such as: loss, birth of a child, marriage, and also refers to his current writing in relation to his writings in different periods of his life in the past.
In the examination of the handwriting, individual writing marks are examined, such as: writing pressure, the size of the writing, its movement, etc., which are crossed with each other. In addition, the writer's personality types are examined, according to various psychological theories, and through them a large and broad picture of the writer's personality characteristics is compiled.

Forensic graphology is also known as examination of documents and signatures. This field examines documents and signatures that are different in departments, such that the person who is alleged to have signed the document, disputes their credibility.
In the world of law, lawyers and judges rely a lot on the opinions of legal graphologists, for the purpose of deciding the reliability of legal evidence, and they have the legitimacy to testify in court.
Forensic graphology examines the handwriting in documents using the various document components: the age of the paper, the type of paper, the age of the ink, testing typewriters, chemical tests, watermarking and more.
Legal graphology includes reference to the analysis of documents and signatures in a wide variety of situations:
*Comparison of documents such as promissory notes, wills, inheritances, guarantees, powers of attorney, contracts and agreements.

*Comparison of handwriting on documents, hate and threat letters, graffiti and more.
Since no two signatures are identical, it is likely that if we come across such cases, then there is a suspicion of forgery.
